Course Goal / Objective

Adoption of basic principles for ecological factors that constitute natural and agricultural ecosystems to be grasped in parallel with global changes and to plan agricultural activities based on sustainability principle.

Course Content

Ecological definitions and concepts, natural and agricultural ecosystems, climate-agriculture relations, agro-soil relations, soil fertility and microorganisms, biotic and abiotic stress factors in agricultural production, global climate change, environmental problems, photosynthesis, transpiration, Traditional and alternative agricultural systems, pollution, sustainability, erosion
