Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to develop students' perspectives on working as a journalist and photojournalist. In the light of the weekly presentations, the techniques applied by contemporary photojournalists will be examined with the ethical problems they face. Students will also be required to prepare a photo interview project during the semester.

Course Content

Definition of press photography, photo reportage, press the basic principles of photography, photojournalism, documentary photography, photojournalism in Turkey, ethics in the press photos.
