Course Goal / Objective

Introducing the basic properties of matter

Course Content

Four basic models of solids, van der Waals binding, cohesive energy, şonic and covalent binding in solids, metals, kuantum states, density of states, termal expansion in solids, heat capacity of solids, elektronic properties of insulators and conductors.
