Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to teach the physiological effects of the fruit trees, to teach the importance of the pruning and to transfer the acquired knowledge to practice.

Course Content

Pruning and aims in fruit trees, physiological principles of pruning, relations between pruning and fertility, ABA accumulation and pruning relations, rootstocks and pruning, classical pruning patterns, modern pruning techniques, planting systems and appropriate pruning patterns, Suitable pruning forms are processed according to fruit species.
