Course Goal / Objective

Understanding the steps of creating collections based on fashion concepts. Designing woven fabrics for apparel and home textiles in line with fashion trends. Weaving prototype fabrics.

Course Content

Preparing storyboards, design sketches and colorways based on fashion and textile trends for apparel and home textiles. Creating fabric collections and weaving them on armured loom using overshot weaves.

LO04 Presents and defends his/her design project; sketches, selections, intended purpose of the apparel and home textile.
