Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to let students to understand why soilless cultivation is used, to be aware of developments in this subject, to understand the trends for covering plant water and nutrient requirements in soilless cultivation, to plan and to manage soilless cultivation at commercial level, to solve problems facing in soilless plant production.

Course Content

Being able to explain the reasons of soilless culture Being able to planning and applying of soilless cultivation Plan and practice the techniques of soilless cultivation on different plant species Being able to solve the problems facing in soilless cultivation Being able to determine the environmeantal effect of soilless cultivation and to design production environmentally friendly Learn hydroponic growing systems
