Course Goal / Objective

The primary of this course is to study basic quantitative methods used in engineering economics and cost analysis with the help of computer programs.

Course Content

Cost factors, accounting of costs, activity based costing, interest/time-value relations, comparison of investment alternatives, financial ratios and planning tecnics, financing of engineering projects, capital budgeting/portfolio analysis, depreciation/inflation, break-even analysis/risk analysis, case study analysis.
