Course Goal / Objective
To teach the basic concepts of general chemistry.
Course Content
Histrical development of chemistry (importance, fields, impacts on daily life, classification and properties of matter), chemical reactions and stoichiometry, Atomic theory and atomic structure, periodic table, metals, chemical compounds, acids and bases, chemical bonds, Valence Bond Theory, intermolecular forces, colligative properties and confirmatory and open-ended experiments related to these concepts
