Course Goal / Objective

This course focuses on ethics in information technologies. In addition, in the course, the ethics of information is dealt with with the moral, legal and social aspects related to information technologies.

Course Content

Introduction to ethics and information technologies; ethical values and concepts, structure of ethical theories. Professional ethics and responsibility. Security and network ethics. Personality and Internet environments, personality and security. Intellectual property and waste. Copyright patent protection methods, copyrights and professional responsibility, and license agreements. Security issues; hacking and cracking. Trial problems in Internet and IT environments. Internet and criminals. Electronic trade. Awareness and informatics about entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable development.
