Course Goal / Objective

To be able to discuss the intercultural nursing models of students and to discuss the integration of cultural competence into nursing education and practice.

Course Content

Health and disease culture, concept of culture, world cultures, importance and place of culture in health, cultural behaviors in health, relationship between patient relatives and health personnel in different cultures, experiencing a disease according to different cultures, intercultural nursing concept, intercultural care approach.
