Course Goal / Objective

Historical foundations of Turkish thought; the basic properties and characters of Turkish thought; cultural life before the Tanzimat; modernization in The Tanzimat era; modernization movements in Meşrutiyet era; the world of thought After meşrutiyet era; İnterested to modern philosophy in Turkey.

Course Content

To introduce the philosophical systems of history of Turkish Thought by searching its basic principles and problems with its representatives and to expose the role and importance in the history of philosophy.
