Course Goal / Objective

The main objective of the course is to evaluate the role of religious actors, institutions and ideologies in policy-making, state-building, democratic politics, conflict, war and other political processes.

Course Content

The course draws on readings touching on a variety of regions arranged around four themes: religion and democracy, dictatorship, conflict and human development.
