Course Goal / Objective
It is intended that students will be able to comprehend basic theories of physics (basic rules of static and mechanical science) so that they can adapt to further education. It is also aimed to be able to examine the states and reactions of force-affected objects in engineering applications.
Course Content
Basic concepts used in mechanics, Unit systems, introduction of International (SI) Unit system, Definition of scalar and vector sizes, Collection and removal of vectors, Finding the intersection of the intersecting forces at one point by graphical and analytical methods and dividing them into components, Drawing a point balance and free-body diagram, Moment and Varignom theory, Support and support reaction types, Shear and bending moment in beams, Finding the center of gravity of Linear and Planar Elements, Energy, work, power and pressure in the fluid,
