Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to define the main elements of irrigation machines, to calculate the energy losses of the pipelines, to project the pipelines, to make the selection of the pump and the force machine, to give basic information about the operation and maintenance of the irrigation machines.
Course Content
Definition of irrigation and irrigation methods, Main elements in pumping plant, Hydraulics of pipelines, Pipeline planning, Characteristic curves in centrifugal pumps, Selection of force machines in pumping plants, Classification of force machines, Operation and maintenance of pumping plants.
