Course Goal / Objective
1. Dilatation joints, where they are made and understand why. 2. Insulation, insulation types (heat, sound insulation against water and moisture) and understand the insulating material. 3. To understand the machine and ground improvement techniques used in earthworks, excavation and transportation to make simple calculations. 4. situ cast reinforced concrete, with traditional and advanced construction methods and pre-fabricated steel structures, such as the ability to compare them. 5. To understand the temporary works such as mold and pier.
