Course Goal / Objective
This course concentrates on gaining knowledge on flower biology, aspects of breeding, breeding methods and application techniques, scion and rootstock breeding in citrus, avocado, pecan, persimmon, kiwi fruit and litchy. Moreover scion breeding for high yield and rootstock breeding and practical hybridization techniques in order to deal with scion/rootstock development are discussed.
Course Content
The aims of this course are gaining knowledge on flower biology, aspects of breeding, breeding methods and application techniques, scion and rootstock breeding in citrus, avocado, pecan, persimmon, kiwi fruit and litchy.
