Course Goal / Objective

To describe horticltural crops, basic principals, propagation methods, cultivation, harvest and storage

Course Content

This lecture concentrates on the definition and classification on horticultural plants, economical importance, biological characteristics, physiology, propagation methods, establisment of orchards, greenhouses and vineyards. Moreover, storage and marketting of horticultural products and plant growth regulators related to horticulture
