Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide pre-service teachers to have knowledge about the historical development and theoretical foundations of instructional technologies, to acquire basic knowledge, concepts, principles and skills related to the design of instructional technologies, to acquire the skills of designing, developing and evaluating instructional materials effectively..

Course Content

-The basic concepts in educational and instructional technology, system theory and communication theory, analysis of instructional objectives, planning/organizing of instructional content and activities, classification of instructional technologies, importance and selection of instructional materials, current literacy, instructional materials and effective using principles of them, and assessment of instructional materials.
