Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students to learn the basic concepts of mental health, explanations about mental health according to different schools, what are the factors affecting mental health in school according to their developmental stages, and the relationship between humanitarian education and mental health.

Course Content

In this course, the definition of mental health and related concepts and information about mental health according to different psychology schools are given and the subject is introduced to students. Then, information about the factors affecting mental health at school, mental health and humanitarian education at school, mental health at school, cognitive and affective learning and mental health are given according to their developmental stages.
