Course Goal / Objective
Gives to the students a basic concept on the various methods used in qualitative and quantitative analysis of the drugs. Also this course contains the applications of qualitative and quantitative methods in drug analysis.
Course Content
The course contains the quantitative analysis methods (titrimetric methods; neutralization, oxydo-reduction, complexometric, nitritometric titrations and spectrophotometric methods) and their applications in pharmaceutical formulations and applications of the chemical methods used in qualitative analysis of drugs.
