Course Goal / Objective
To provide students with basic information about hormones and vitamins.
Course Content
General characteristics of hormones, mechanisms of action of hormones, thyroid hormones, hormones regulating calcium and phosphorus metabolism, pancreatic hormones, adrenal hormones, gonads and steroid hormones, hypothalamus and pituitary hormones, gastrointestinal hormones, biochemical functions of vitamins, fat soluble vitamins, water soluble vitamins.
