Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the basic biological concepts required in Agricultural Machinery Engineering education.

Course Content

The sub-branches of Biology, live properties; structure and functions of macromolecules (carbohydrate, fat, protein, secondary metabolites), cell structure and functions; basic information about metabolism, photosynthesis and respiration (energy use), intercellular communication, human genetics, human physiology and biotechnology.
