Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to teach plant disease-causing abiotic and biotic factors (fungi, bacteria, phytoplasma, spiroplazma, viruses and viroid), their symptoms on many crops, general information on plant parasitic weeds and their management methods. The aim of this course is to teach definition of insect pests, separating them from other Arthropods, general morphology of insect and their metamorphosis To give information about economically important insect orders and some important families To give detailed information about insect pest control methods

Importance of the insect in agriculture, insect morphology, insect metamorphosis, important insect orders in agricultural production, insect pest control methods Plant diseases cause by microorganisms, their symptoms of the diseases, disease management methods
