Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to help students understand the formation and evolution of plastic arts formed in the Middle Ages and Early Modern from social, intellectual, political, and economic dimensions. To understand the formation and evolution of plastic arts formed in the 18th and 19th centuries from the social, intellectual, political, and economic dimensions.
Course Content
Byzantine Art, Roman Art, Gothic Art, Pre-Renaissance, Early Renaissance, High Renaissance, Art of the Renaissance in the Central and Northern European countries, the ,Mannerism, Baroque Art. Rococo, Neo-Classicism, Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism, Neo-Impressionism, Post Impressionism, Symbolism.
