Course Goal / Objective
Basic concepts: aesthetics, beauty, art and architecture. Aesthetics and problem areas, aesthetic doctrine, environmental aesthetics, perception of Gestalt theory, aesthetics in architecture as an evaluation criterion, the spatial aesthetics of architecture, visual balance. Format specifications related concepts: Unit size, union scale, proportion, rhythm, symmetry. Formatting approaches: Form to be considered, visualization and abstract / concrete form, abstraction / concretization of the form creation, thought and concept development, moving from product specifications. Perceptual aesthetic, symbolic aesthetic, formal aesthetics.
Course Content
