Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to make consideration and concern for defining project solutions according to interior program providing organizational superiority to spacial functions and conceptual thinking, either, presenting with architectural articulation techniques and developing brain storm by discussion in frame of professional discipline and design ethic, providing of vision for unpredicted design circumctances and getting action for expected decisions, providing corporation with related disciplines and other professions of sector.

Course Content

Preparing project program defining due to the subject indicated in diploma project guide, encouragement of inspirations for conceptual thinking, modelling of conceptual project ideas. Organization by executive decisions and correlation in all construction processes integrating profession mind of design and practice.

1 Assigning project topics on the subjects of Architecture / Surveying. Homework: 1) Research on the topic of various similar and successful restoration projects, and 2) On-site supervision of the building
2 Presentation of study and research related to the building. Work Assignment discussion topics: Research on the sample Restoration Projects / 3) Suggestions about the function to be given to the building / development of alternatives to the List of Needs
3 Seminar 1: a) Presentations of sample Restoration projects and b) Discussion of Proposed lists of needs. Preliminary Project work / Architectural Style research
4 Workshop on Restitution and Restoration of Buildings and Preliminary evaluations of the projects and Architectural Style of studies. Organization survey of the venue
5 Evaluation of Space Organization. Recommendations for the development of the internal architectural design
6 Lectures: Successful examples of national and international restorations, and Evaluation of Interior Design works. The project studies
7 4-hour studio work on a given topic, 1:10 scale plans, interior elevations, interior design, interior perspectives, and presentation of 1:5 and 1:2 details. The project studies
