Course Goal / Objective

Teaching of technological materials and its application areas

Course Content

Mechanic properties of materials, Tensile test and engineering stress, Hardness and hardness tests overview, Polymer materials overview, Phase diagrams of materials, Triple phase diagrams, Engineering alloys, Magnesium, titanium and nickel alloys, Copper and aluminium alloys, Low alloy steels and cast irons, Materials selection for metalic material used engineering designs, Ceramic materials, Magnetic materials.
