Course Goal / Objective
The aim of course is to look at the emergence of the cinema industry in Turkey from the historical perspective and develop political, cultural and economic point of view. In addition to all the components of the industry, a perspective for the audience experience and movie theaters will also be included.
Course Content
In this course, the history of Turkish cinema will be approached from a chronological perspective, while developing a discourse on director and films. Developments from different eras also be studied with the cinematic context. Chosen films will be watched and discussed with the students.
