Course Goal / Objective

Learn to basic concept and principles of plant breeding

Course Content

This lesson contains the definition and application areas of plant breeding, general biological concepts, germplasm issues, genetic analysis in plant breeding, introduction of quantitative genetics, plant cellular organization and genetic structure, plant reproductive systems and Fertility regulating mechanism in plants
