Course Goal / Objective

Introduction to remote sensing sensors and platforms for landscape planning. Main principles of remote sensing, including interaction of electromagnetic energy with plants, soils and water.

Course Content

Description of land use/cover; land use/cover classification using remote sensing; classifiers and techniques; resolution terms and image processing techniques.
