Course Goal / Objective
Observation of nature, recognition of organic and inorganic forms, abstraction, interpretation and reconstruction. To know color knowledge in design process, to be able to establish the relationship between color and form and texture. Gaining the ability to convert different materials into form in the design process. comprehend the importance of creativity in the process of creation of artwork.
Course Content
This course includes elements that regulate the work of art (line, texture, color, form, space, etc.) and principles (rhythm, balance, integrity, etc.). Two and three dimensional designs are applied by establishing content and form relations with these principles and elements. Inspired by nature and other disciplines in the design process, paves the way for new conceptual ideas. Students will be able to demonstrate and discuss and interpret these ideas on works of art. In visual applications, it is requested to prepare a portfolio in accordance with ethical rules.
