Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to examine the mythology of different cultures living in Turkish geography, the important myths and examples of Turkish mythology as well as their basic concepts related to mythology.

Course Content

This course includes examining the basic concepts of mythology, mythological schools and theories as well as the properties of Turkish mythology and the meaning of some elements such as Creation Myths, Derivation Myths, number, color, and animal in Turkish Mythology.
