Course Goal / Objective

Discussion of urban planning approaches throughout history, gaining knowledge about development regulations and relevant legal framework in Turkey and examining urban form

Course Content

The evolution of urban planning in ancient times, Middle Ages, Renaissance period, Baroque Period, after Industrial Revolution and 20th century, urban development in Turkey, legal framework, vehicle traffic and solutions for car parking spaces
