Course Goal / Objective

Gaining the ability of calculating the dimensions of beams, columns, floors and foundations of reinforced concrete buildings

Course Content

Investigation of the fundamental concepts and behaviors of reinforced concrete. Safety of structure. Behavior and strength of unaxially loaded members. Behavior and strength of members in pure bending. Behavior and strength of members under combined bending and axial load. Behavior and strength of members under combined shear and bending. Calculation of dimensions of structural elements
