Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is improving the reading, understanding and translation skills of English texts in the field of statistics.

Course Content

In this course random variables and probability distributions, mathematical expectation, the mean, median, mode and other measures of central tendency, the standard deviation and other measures of dispersion, moments, skewness and kurtosis, special probability distributions, statistical estimation theory, curve fitting, regression and correlation are examined.
