Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the examination of the mechanisms of natural fibers dyeing, introduce machines and apparatus used in the application, give basic information about after dyeing fastness
Course Content
The General Information About Colour, Dye, Dyeing Pigment and Dyeing Concepts. Dyeing Mechanism Between Natural Fibers and Dyeing Pigments. The Machines and Equipments Used in Natural Fiber Dyeing, Dyeing Fastness, The Dyeing of Cellulosic Fibers (cotton, linen, regenerated cellulose) with Vat, Cube, Cube-Leukoester, Direct Sulphur, reactive and pigment substances; Dyeing of protein fabric (wool, silk) with acid, chrome and complex metal dyeing substances, Finding the color by using various dyeing substances and detection of color index number from the colored material.
