Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to inform the students about raw materials used in the production of nonwoven textiles; properties of nonwovens, fibers for nonwovens, web formation and bounding, introduce the properties and aplication areas of nonwovens.

Course Content

General Concepts and Definitions About Nonwovens, web formation and production methods, Fibers used for web production and Its spesification. Web bounding and bounding methods. Nonwoven finishing.
