Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach terminology for textile technology and science in English on other fabric production methods, finishing processes, dyeing and printing processes.

Course Content

Textile terminology in general. Knowledge and teminology. Other fabric production methods; i.e. Nonwovens, coating and tufting etc. Textile knowledge and terminology used in finishing processes; i.e. Pretreatment processes, mechanical and chemical finishing processes. Knowledge and terminology in dyeing and printing methods in textile.
