Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to teach the basic principles of spinning, fibre properties and types of yarn, calculations of drafting, dubbing, twist, number, production.
Course Content
The course covers the following topics: Introduction and Definitions, Fiber-Yarn Interaction, Yarn Types, Yarn Count Systems, Yarn Parameters; Fineness, Density, Number of Fiber at Yarn Cross Section, Technological Correlations; Drawing, Doubling, Twist and Its Correlation, Production Calculations, Yarn Structure and Properties
