Course Goal / Objective
To define professional ethical principles related to earth sciences, to provide ethical-moral-norms' daily life and professional practices, rights and responsibilities of different parties, to develop ethical behaviors related to the profession and to give information about unethical behaviors that may be encountered.
Course Content
Ethics, engineer, engineering ethics, engineering standards, engineers' rights and responsibilities, ethics codes in engineering, Geoethics, Geoscience Professions and Professionalism, engineering ethics cases.
