Course Goal / Objective
To get students understand the formation and evolution of the plastic arts of Middle Ages and Early Modern by their social, intellectual, political, and economic dimensions.
Course Content
Byzantine Art, Roman Art, Gothic Art, Pre-Renaissance, Early Renaissance, High Renaissance, Central and Northern European countries, The Art of the Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque Art
