Course Goal / Objective
To teach students who do not know Pilates, beginner and intermediate level ground movements.
Course Content
Pilates exercise method and its history. The life of Joseph Hubertus Pilates. Basic principles of pilates. Basic and preparatory movements for ground movements. Correct posture posture and analysis. Posture, alignment, position. Beginner level ground movements (classical pilates series movements). Breathing exercises. Powerhouse and box, pilates V, turn out. Mid-level classical ground motions. Practicing some pilates ground movements with Swiss Ball, magic circle and tereband.
