Course Goal / Objective
In the historical process, the definition of the concept of aesthetics, its meaning and its effect on art is aimed to be questioned, and the variables and differences between aesthetics and art philosophy and practices are aimed. In addition, it is aimed to examine the works of art performed in different cultures and periods, to perceive social cultural aesthetic values, to share ideas and opinions about the development of artistic expression and visual culture, and to comprehend the issues.
Course Content
The views of thinkers on the concept of aesthetics in the historical process. Understanding and interpreting artistic, culture and aesthetic values, art education philosophy. Art, visual culture, visual perception within the concept of culture. Art and design principles. Theoretical classification of fields of art, artistic and critical thinking, imagination and creativity.
