Course Goal / Objective

to provide information about basic concepts in psychomotor development, periods of development and growth, models of development, motor development and principles and factors affecting motor development, physical fitness and perceptual motor ability in children, self concept.

Course Content

Psychomotor and motor skills, age-related changes in motor behaviors, similarities and differences between individuals, concepts, principles, factors affecting motor development, institutional approaches, physical development, periods of motor development, physical fitness with motor development, perceptual motor abilities and self concept relationship, evaluation of motor behaviors in children.
