Course Goal / Objective

In this course; It is aimed at teaching the students who obtain general information about the maps, to read topographic and geological maps, interpreting, it is aimed to gain knowledge extraction layer inclination and direction of the cross-section depending on the map and the ability to identify and map drawing.

Course Content

Map and types of topographic maps, geological maps, sheet plane direction, the determination of the slope and slope direction, section from topographic maps, outcrops, faults, folds, there are rules and geological shown on the map layers by the VA rule, compass use.
