Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to enable students to understand the importance and function of basic counseling skills, to use these skills effectively and to create therapeutic conditions.
Course Content
Basic Counseling Skills: Attending, Asking questions, Minimal Encouragement, Reflection of Content, Reflection of Feeling, Summarization, Focusing, Interpretation, Confrontation, Self-Disclosure, Immeddiacy, Feedback, Information Giving; Integration of Counseling Skills and Counseling Process.
