Course Goal / Objective

This course aims at teaching basic concepts and knowledge about textile engineering and technologies, giving basic knowledge about textile raw materials, teaching basic process and production steps in textile.

Course Content

General Concepts Concerning Textile Technology and Engineering. Definition of Textile Materials, Fundamental Properties, Standards and Classifications. Natural and Synthetic Textile Materials. General Information Concerning Textile Technology. Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Non-Woven and Finishing Technology, Quality Control.
