Course Goal / Objective
Definition and meaning of the term drama; psycho-drama, educational drama, educational drama, socio-drama, etc. concepts, drama-play relationship, history of drama practices in education; structure and application stages of drama in education; drama environment and teacher qualifications; evaluation of drama; Developing and applying drama samples, examples suitable for the educational objectives of the field.
Course Content
1. Basic concepts specific to the use of educational drama in German teaching The importance of the relationship between play and drama 2. Studies on the importance and application techniques of educational drama 3. The effect of educational drama on learning, foreign language and communication skills 4. Animations in accordance with general objectives (improvisation and role techniques such as playing) 5. Course stages in German lesson where educational drama activities are used. 6. In German lesson where educational drama activities are used, learning purpose, working styles and material selection 7. Exchange of ideas about educational drama classroom practices.
