Course Goal / Objective

Adolescence sheds light on what kind of adult you will be in the future because it is a period of intense physical, sexual and psychosocial development. The prominence of approaching multidisciplinary ergonomics in this period emerges.

Course Content

Adolescence which is one of the most important periods of development; it is a period when adolescents have difficulties adapting to rapidly changing biological and psychological changes. The increase in risky health behaviors is directly related to lack of education in the community, morbidity in adulthood and short life expectancy at birth. The fact that society adopts and disregards these behaviors is one of the reasons why these behaviors arose especially in adolescents and adolescents. Various biological and environmental factors, especially when there are no social prevention and protection programs to prevent risky behaviors in adolescents, further deepens the problem by affecting these behaviors. The adolescent, who is followed up in the health institution within the scope of protection and development of health, power of thinking, should be support physical exercise, smoking, alcohol and drug abuse, adequate and balanced nutrition, safe sex life, accidents, injuries, and a safe and positive lifestyle.
