Course Goal / Objective

In this course, basic logic circuits, compound logic circuits, and the knowledge and skills to establish arithmetic logic circuits, is aimed to gain.

Course Content

Number Systems, Logic Gate Circuits, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh maps, encoders, Decoders,multiplexer, demultiplexer, Adders, Subtructors and Comparators Circuits

LO01 Students can recognize Number systems and do conversion between number systems. Students can recognize code systems generated by Number systems and do application in related field.
LO02 Students can recognize Logic Gates, create the electrical circuit equivalents and analyze electrical circuit equivalents .Students can perform Logic gates and draw given a logical expression.
LO03 Students know boolean mathematics rules and can make the simplification any logical expression .
LO04 Students know transferring Logical expressions to the truth table,place this truth table values in karnaugh maps, can make groupping in karnaugh maps and can write system outputs.
LO05 For a given sytem, Students can create truth table.After, Students can switch Karnaugh maps and , can make groupping in karnaugh maps and can write The most simple version of system.
LO06 Students know The encoder and decoder circuits, and can know and implement those circuits.
LO07 Students know Summing, Substractor, Multiply and Comparator circuits and implement those circuits.
